OPPO A16s
Design & Build
The OPPO A16s features a plastic build with a glass front protected by Panda MN228 glass. It has a waterdrop notch design and is available in Crystal Black and Pearl Blue. The device is IPX4-rated for water resistance and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It measures 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4 mm and weighs 195 grams.
Display
The phone sports a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. The pixel density is 269 ppi, offering decent clarity for its price range.
Performance
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset with an IMG GE8320 GPU, the A16s comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.

The phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou), NFC, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports dual SIM cards.
Software & Updates
The device ships with Android 11 and ColorOS 11.1. Security patches are up to August 5, 2021, at the time of testing.
Additional Features
The A16s includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, pedometer, and gyroscope. It supports OTG functionality and has a mono speaker.
